She was known to be a very good pool player, often gathering friends and family for spirited games filled with laughter.

A graveside service to honor her memory will take place on February 7, 2025, at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Friends and family are invited to gather at 10:45 AM to celebrate the beautiful life of Geraldine Kay Martinez-Tate—a shining light whose laughter and kindness will forever resonate in our hearts. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held afterwards at Correa's Event Center starting at 1pm.
