Molly Cecilia Jensen, 68, of Arvada, CO, passed away on Monday night, January 1st, 2018 in Denver, CO. Molly was born in Denver, CO, on September 22nd, 1949, to late Louis B. Fistell, and late Diana V. Fistell. She grew up in Arvada, CO where she went to Arvada West High School and upon graduation in 1967, attended University of Colorado in Boulder where she was a pre-med student. In the spring of 1978, Molly met the love of her life, Dennis McMillen Jensen. They married on March 14th of 1980. Molly and Dennis were inseparable and shared an amazing unbreakable bond based on love and trust. Molly and Dennis loved taking family road trips to Black Hills in South Dakota. They had no children of the marriage, but always loved their nephews and nieces as if they were their own. For many years Molly worked for LJR, and Colorado Game Exchange as a warehouse manager. She loved building doll houses, collecting miniatures and stuffed animals. She was learning how to paint. She loved animals, and gave a lot of attention to her beloved dog Rascal. She loved baseball, bowling, bingo as well as playing golf with her husband. Molly was preceded in death by her parents Louis B. Fistell, and Diana V. Fistell, as well as her husband Dennis McMillen Jensen. Molly is survived by her siblings, Robert E. Fistell of Brighton, CO, Sharon Grobe of Arvada, CO, Martin Fistell, of Wheat Ridge, CO, Allen Fistell of Denver, CO, and her 9 nephews, 1 niece, 3 great nieces, and 1 great great niece, who are left to embellish her memory. No words can express the sadness and grief that came with Molly’s passing. She was a strong, loving and giving individual, who had a gift of always making people feel special when she was with them. Her smile and sense of humor will be missed, but her memories will live on forever among her family and friends. Funeral service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO, on Wednesday, January 10th, at 2:15 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to Red Rocks Animal Center.
