Burial Assistance (Medicaid or Social Security)
The State of Colorado’s burial assistance program may help with paying for the service of your loved one. The Burial Assistance Program is funded through the Old Age pension Burial Reimbursement appropriation. The State of Colorado receives applications for the Burial Assistance program on a county by county basis. Each county has a different submission process. Our Funeral Directors work directly with you to complete this process and ensure that your documents are submitted accurately and timely.
Veterans Burial Allowance
You may be eligible for Veterans burial allowances if you’re paying for the burial and funeral costs and you won’t be reimbursed by any other organization, like another government agency or the Veteran’s employer. The Veterans Burial Allowance program has strict eligibility requirements. You can see these requirements on our Honor our Veterans page.
Sometimes death occurs through unexpected circumstances. If your loved one was a victim of a crime they, or you, may be eligible to receive assistance in the form of funeral costs, emotional and physical therapy, lost wages, etc. Our Funeral Directors work directly with you to complete the application process to ensure it is submitted accurately and timely.
